Movavi: annual or lifetime?
A lifetime editor license can still leave you paying for upgrades or optional subscriptions. Compare those costs before choosing.

Movavi distinguishes the right to keep using a purchased version from access to later versions. Read its licensing and subscription guidance and upgrade explanation. Do not assume a lifetime purchase today includes the next major release unless your actual offer explicitly promises it.
Record four amounts from your checkout
- The full first-year payment, rather than an advertised monthly equivalent.
- The renewal price, if stated. Otherwise enter your own estimate and try a higher one too.
- The lifetime price for the same product, device and license type.
- Any separate Effects charge, trial conversion or planned paid upgrade.

The license agreement describes automatic renewal at the applicable price and taxes. An introductory discount is not a confirmed renewal quote. It also does not promise that an old version will remain compatible with every future operating system.
Movavi’s account guidance tells users to cancel Effects separately from the editor. Review both subscriptions if you accepted an optional trial. In our calculator, separately billed monthly extras go in monthly add-ons; add annual extras to the annual license amounts instead.
Compare a short project with longer use
Try 12, 24 and 36 months. Annual billing means a 13-month project pays for a second year. A zero upgrade budget assumes you keep the purchased version throughout; it does not promise free future upgrades. After comparing costs, test the editor with your own footage and check the features of each offered plan.
