BUYING GUIDE

PowerDirector 365 or 2026?

Compare the commitment behind the price: ongoing access and updates, or a one-time edition.

Published September 12, 2026 · US Windows plans · Based on official purchasing terms

Two ways to buy

PowerDirector 365 is the subscription option. PowerDirector 2026 is a perpetual purchase with a different feature set. The subscription includes ongoing feature and content updates; the one-time edition does not include the same continuing additions. Compare the features you need before comparing their costs.

Plan or extraAdvertised amount
PowerDirector 365, annual$59.99 promotional offer observed; $79.99 reference price
PowerDirector 2026$139.99 once

Optional Promeo+$34.99 / year
The promotion is date-sensitive.

The offer we observed stated a September 13 end date, without a verified cutoff time zone. Treat it as a dated observation, not a promised current offer. The $79.99 reference price is not a confirmed renewal quote. Check the current official plans.

Read annual prices as annual payments

An advertised monthly equivalent for an annual plan is not necessarily an available month-to-month charge. In the calculator, choose annual billing and enter the total due for the year. A 13-month period includes two annual charges. Enter the second and later years using your own renewal-price assumption.

Include only the extras you need

The published plan comparison lists 30 Getty downloads per month with the base subscription and an optional unlimited stock plan. Budget those annual extras as full annual charges alongside the license; the calculator’s monthly add-on fields are for separately billed monthly costs.

CyberLink’s credit guidance lists 100 monthly bonus credits for Windows PowerDirector 365. Bonus credits expire after one month and purchased credits after one year. Feature consumption varies, so check the requirement shown before using a tool. Read the AI credit rules.

A useful decision test

Run your budget over 12, 24 and 36 months. If a modest change in your renewal assumption changes which plan costs less, that uncertainty matters. Separately check format support, required features and how the editor runs with your footage. A smaller total does not prove that a plan is the better fit.
